There was a girl knocking on my hotel room door all night! Finally, I let her out.
I am exhausted.
This time change thing is just killing me. I’ve slept a lot today—apparently, the school also forgot that when I said I’d be out of town I actually meant it, and they called today to check up on me. Mom called and woke me up just as I’d fallen asleep, too.
The hotel is nice. Humid, though. Miserably hot above the ground level. The nice lady promised to make sure my room always had working air, though, since I told her that it made me sick in hot weather. She’s also the one who bought us dinner at the Mexican restaurant. All a bit spicy, but very tasty.
Tomorrow’s going to be busy again. I have to check and make sure I know where everything is located, even though the concierge desk is full of jerks who won’t help me. >.< I just wanted a copy of the menus so I wouldn’t have to send everyone halfway across the hotel to find out what there was!
Whatever. I can’t do much more than I am. We found the Lumos GBBoE today, and I can’t do half the stuff in it because they won’t give me the info.
Okay, it’s seriously bedtime. It’s after 10 here, and I’ve been running on just a few hours of sleep since 6 this morning, Dallas time. That’s 4 Sacramento time, for those of you keeping track.
